The United People's Republic of Mari'im is a country located to the east of Melania. It consists of over a hundred and fifty islands and atolls, surrounded by the Cislendian Ocean. Since winning their independence from Lendia around a decade ago, the people of Mari'im have been building a remarkable political system quite unlike any seen elsewhere in the world. This system has been carefully designed to suit the particular character of our homeland - it combines a vibrant democratic system with a profound respect for Mari'im culture and traditions, resulting in a system that caters both to our heritage and our aspirations for the future.
